How pricing works

The one-time activation fee and the recurring data fee explained.

Written by Austin Bouley

The Self Operating Brokerage has two parts:

The activation fee

A one-time fee of $4,997. This covers your lifetime access to the platform and the income systems, and is handled during signup before you receive your access code. It's paid once and never recurs.

The data fee

An ongoing fee that covers live market data, trade execution, and platform infrastructure. Choose either:

  • $97 per month, billed monthly, or

  • $970 per year, billed annually (the equivalent of two months free)

You choose which when you set up your subscription inside the app. This is the only fee that recurs.

Which should you choose?

Yearly saves you $194 a year. Monthly gives you flexibility if you're not yet sure how long you'll run your systems. You can switch between them later through your billing portal.

What isn't included

Your brokerage may charge its own commissions, contract fees, and other costs. Those are between you and your brokerage. We don't set them or receive any part of them. Check your brokerage's fee schedule so you know what your systems' trades will cost.

We don't take a share of your returns

There's no performance fee and no percentage of profits. Whatever your systems generate stays in your brokerage account.

Your first 30 days

First-time subscribers get a 30-day free trial on the data fee. You won't be charged until it ends, and you can cancel before then. If you've subscribed before, the trial doesn't apply on reactivation.

Questions about your bill

Invoices, receipts, and payment history are in your billing portal. See Managing your billing and payment method.
