Understanding your Brokers page

What each field on your connected accounts means.

Written by Austin Bouley

The Brokers page lists every brokerage account you've connected, so you can see at a glance what's linked and what capital is available.

The summary row

At the top you'll see totals across all your connected accounts: how many accounts are linked, their combined value, and total buying power.

What each column means

  • Account name — the name your brokerage gave the account.

  • Type — the account type at your brokerage, such as Margin or Cash. This affects which strategies your brokerage will permit.

  • Account number — shown masked, with only the last four digits visible. If you run the same system on two accounts, those last four digits are how you tell them apart.

  • Status — whether the connection is currently healthy. If an account shows as disconnected, your systems can't trade on it until you reconnect.

  • Account value — the total current value of the account, as reported by your brokerage. This sets the ceiling on what you can allocate to a system.

  • Buying power — what your brokerage will currently let you deploy. On a margin account this is often higher than your cash balance.

Where this data comes from

All of it is pulled from your brokerage, not calculated by us. It refreshes when you connect an account and then updates on an ongoing basis. If a number looks wrong, compare it against your brokerage's own dashboard first — brokerages sometimes report values with a delay, especially outside market hours.

Account actions

Each account row has a More options menu with three actions: reconnect, export trade history, and disconnect. These are covered in Reconnecting an account and exporting trade history and Disconnecting a brokerage account.

If you haven't connected anything yet

The page shows the connect screen instead of a list, so you can link your first account from there.
