The banner at the top of your dashboard greets you and tracks your realized income for the current calendar month against a $10,000 goal.
What the progress bar shows
Realized income from all your active systems for this month — closed trades, collected premium, and dividends received. Unrealized gains on open positions aren't included; they count once those positions close.
The figure resets at the start of each calendar month. A month-end can therefore look sparse if positions closed just after the boundary.
About the $10,000 goal
This is a fixed platform-wide milestone, not a target set for your account or a projection based on your allocation. It's a common reference point, and it's what qualifies you for the Income Month Award.
Whether $10,000 a month is realistic for you depends entirely on how much capital you've allocated and which systems you're running. Don't read the progress bar as a forecast.
What appears when you hit it
Links to your monthly report and to the Income Month Award, which you can claim. See Claiming your Income Month Award.
Dismissing the banner
Click the X. It stays hidden for 7 days, then returns. Your income tracking continues either way — dismissing only affects the display.
If the figure looks wrong
Check the Calendar page, which breaks the same month down day by day and shows which systems contributed. That usually explains a discrepancy.
Bear in mind the month boundary and the realized-versus-unrealized distinction — between them they account for most surprises. If it still doesn't reconcile against your brokerage records, contact support.
