Getting up and running takes four steps. Until you've finished them all, signing in takes you to whichever step still needs your attention rather than to the dashboard. That's intentional — it's not an error.
The four steps
1. Create your account
Register with your four-digit access code. See Creating your account.
2. Start your subscription
Choose whether to pay your data fee monthly or yearly and complete checkout. Until this is done, you'll be taken to the subscription page each time you sign in.
3. Connect your brokerage
Link the brokerage account your systems will trade in. You can skip this and come back to it later if you're not ready.
4. Deploy your first income system
Choose a system, pick the account it runs in, and set your allocation. Once this is done, you land on your dashboard from then on.
Why you might get redirected later
Even after setup, you may occasionally be routed somewhere other than the dashboard:
You're sent to the subscription page — your subscription isn't currently active. This can happen if a payment failed or a card expired. Update your payment details to restore access.
You're sent to the paused page — you've paused your subscription. Your systems aren't trading. Click Restart Now to resume. See Understanding a paused subscription.
You're sent back into setup — your setup was never finished, usually because you skipped connecting a brokerage. Complete the remaining step.
What you can always reach
Your account settings stay available no matter what state your subscription is in, so you can always update your payment method, change your password, or manage your subscription.
How long it takes
Most people complete all four steps in under fifteen minutes. The brokerage connection is usually the longest part, since you'll sign in at your brokerage and approve access there.
