Deploying a system puts it to work in your brokerage account. The process is the same whether it's your first system or your fifth.
How to deploy
Go to Systems.
Click to add the system you want.
Choose the brokerage account it will run in.
Set your allocation — the amount of that account the system may use.
Watch the strategy overview so you know how it operates.
Accept the agreement and confirm.
A confirmation shows the system name and when it will next run.
Choosing your allocation
Your allocation caps how much capital the system may deploy. It won't exceed it.
We suggest a starting figure of roughly 30% of your account value, rounded to the nearest $100 and never below the system minimum. This is a starting point, not a recommendation for your situation.
Things worth weighing:
Your allocation cannot exceed the account's total value.
If you plan to run several systems on one account, they share that account. Don't allocate the same dollars twice.
Allocation can be changed later from the system's settings.
Cash Reserve sets its own allocation from available cash — you won't be asked for a figure.
Minimums
Cash Reserve — $1,000
Wheel Paycheck — $5,000
Futures Paycheck — $8,000
What happens next
Your system begins operating on its schedule. Systems act at particular points in the trading day or week — you generally won't see activity in the first few minutes, and nothing happens outside market hours.
Track it from the system's detail page, where you'll find its trade history and execution log.
Common problems
"This system requires a minimum allocation of $X" — raise your allocation or fund the account.
"This system can't use more than your account value of $X" — you've entered more than the account holds.
"The selected broker account is not available" — the account may have disconnected. Check the Brokers page.
"Unable to deploy your income system" — a temporary issue. Try again, and contact support if it persists.
